Hi I’m Clue and I’m 20 from the Philippines. I was 17 years old when I met my boyfriend Tony. I just want to share from my personal experience that long distance relationship works! It’s not easy and probably not ideal for some but it worked for us. We met way back in 2015- I wasn’t looking for love because I just wanted to focus all the energy to myself and my personal growth and goals but life and love itself has a funny way to surprise you sometimes! We started off as friends like everybody else and from there we eventually develop feelings for each other. He lives in Scottsdale Arizona and we also have a quite gap when it comes to our age but that didn’t stop us from being together. I’m attracted to a man older than me specially if he is so wise because for me a man like that got no time to play games and luckily Tony is exactly like that!
We started talking around December 2015 on Facebook and he waited til I turned 18 (April 25) and asked me if I can be his girl, I liked the guy and I said YES! Our relationship during the ldr was challenging but it was fun and full of love, friendship and loyalty. We made sure that we don’t do anything that will put our relationship in jeopardy. Apart from God, we always put our relationship first. We did everything we could to feel close to each other inspite of the distance. Tony has his own social media company so he’s just at home working, playing and talking to me. We go to sleep together, eat together, go on dates, watching movies, play games and anything you can think of we did most of it to make the relationship steady.
We were on ldr for 1 year and 5 months. On October 27 2015 he finally flew from United States to Philippines and that was the start of the best days of our lives. Since he didn’t have a job to rush back home he was able to stay for 10 months and we lived together, we traveled together and just making up for a year of not being able to hug, kiss or see each other.
I hope we can inspire as many ldr couples as possible. Thank you for your time!
Stay tuned for more! See you
